For the first poster, the project was about Identities. So I had to pretend that I was a person living in a different country. Selected at random, I was given South Korea. After researching the countries history and looking at artists such as Lee Bul and Hoon Sunwoo. I inhabited the, made up, mind of Lee Minkyu. Where Uber-Urbanization has transformed South Korea and he thinks about wither his country will become a Utopia or if it will fail.
The second poster was for a project about Geography and art. I decided to create a poster about the build-up of trash, climate change, and how it should scare everyone in the world. The garbage bag is dropping down like a polluted water droplet, but also like a blob from a horror film. I was inspired by Japanese horror film posters.
